Within procurement overall responsible for the category of Fan motor, Reactor, Transformer and processor including supplier management, market intelligence like cutting edge technology, and internal business needs. You will develop and execute Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning’s sourcing strategy and reduce total cost of ownership for the categories assigned to you. You will be a key member of Sourcing team that drives continuous improvement in support of Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning's rapid growth. As a SME, you will be expected to lead and participate on large projects as well as understand and resolve complex issues that put company objectives at risk. Work with upper management to lead global Category team to develop Strategies for the assigned Categories and execute strategies at Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning plants. Lead sourcing process with support of cross functional teams in market analysis, RFI/RFQ, negotiation, evaluation, site audit, sampling, qualification, ramp-up, and contracting. Manage supplier performance to world class in Cost, Quality, Delivery and technology alignment. Conduct Quarterly Business Review’s with key suppliers to ensure full alignment at all tiers of communication. Implement VAVE, Business Continuity, Knowledge Based Sourcing, and Financial Status assessment, “best in class” Supply chain improvements program at suppliers. Contracting with suppliers considering best value to Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning in cost, payment term, warranty, and delivery. Develop and execute TCO (total cost of ownership) reduction plan to achieve goal in cost reduction, TWC, delivery, quality and sustainability.
